Backing to a Trailer

In this exercise, we're going to review how to backup to a trailer.

We'll begin this exercise by pulling forward about 40 yards towards the training cone. After clearing the cone, we will make a left turn and proceed 20 yards. Once the vehicle is here, we’ll place the truck in reverse and attempt to position the truck back into the position it started in, with the pintle directly under the hoop on the trailer hitch. When performing this exercise, we’ll exit our vehicle one time and make corrections from there.
